About Our Host
As Vice President of Original Production for Turner Classic Movies, Tom has the ultimate job for an Elvis fan. During his last nine years at TCM, he has produced a lot of pieces in support of Elvis themes and festivals. He was executive producer on special segments with Priscilla Presley, Scotty Moore, DJ Fontana, George Klein and The TCB Band. He has shot in locations like RCA Studio B in Nashville, Radio Recorders Studio in LA, and inside Graceland.

He also was Executive Producer of the bonus material on the DVD of "Elvis That's The Way It Is Special Edition" and is interviewed in the featurettes included on the 50th Anniversary DVD edition of "Love Me Tender."

Tom became a fan of Elvis after discovering the 45 of "Return To Sender"in his mother's record collection. He grew up in Tupelo, MS, two streets behind Elvis' birthplace and proudly attended Elvis' elementary schools, Lawhon and Milam.

He saw Elvis in concert at the Mid-South Coliseum on March 20, 1974 at the show which was became the album "Elvis Recorded Live On Stage in Memphis."

Day One
Monday, August 13, 2007
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The Elvis Insiders Conference kicks off this year with a special segment about Elvis and Colonel Parker. Special guests for this segment include Loanne Parker, Dick Grob and Charles Stone, who will share stories and memories about Elvis and Colonel Parker.

Also confirmed on day one of the conference is DJ Fontana, Elvis's original drummer, who worked with Elvis from 1955 to 1968.

Then, join us for the afternoon of Day one when we celebrate Elvis in the Movies.

Hear Elvis co-stars Chris Noel, Cynthia Pepper and Darlene Tompkins share stories of being on the set with Elvis.

Then, special guest Mary Ann Mobley, Elvis's co-star in Harum Scarum and Girl Happy, will join us to share her special memories of working on the set with Elvis. You’ll also get to see rare movie clips and a behind-the-scenes look at some of the re-mastered movies from Warner Bros.

Day Two
Tuesday, August 14, 2007
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Myrna Smith and Estelle Brown of the The Sweet Inspirations, who backed Elvis onstage from 1969-1977, will join our host on the stage and share their memories of Elvis on and off the stage.

TCB Band members Ronnie Tutt, James Burton, Jerry Scheff and Glen Hardin will stop by the conference to talk about working and performing on stage with Elvis.

Then, Gene Chrisman, Bobby Emmons, Mike Leech, Reggie Young and Bobby Wood, who were session musicians during Elvis's legendary 1969 recording sessions at American Sound in Memphis, will take the stage to talk about working with Elvis on some of his classic hits, including "In the Ghetto," "Kentucky Rain," "Don't Cry, Daddy" and "Suspicious Minds."

And, as our main event for the 2007 Official Elvis Insiders Conference, very special guest Priscilla Presley will share some of her favorite stories and memories of Elvis. Priscilla will be joined on stage by one of Elvis’s closest friends, Jerry Schilling.

All conference details including program and schedule are subject to change.



All conference attendees receive a welcome kit loaded with Elvis-themed gifts and everyone attending wins a door prize. Door prizes will vary in value.
